Role & responsibilities

Leadership and Team Management:

• Lead, supervise, and motivate a team of storekeepers.
• Foster a positive, collaborative, and productive work environment.
• Provide guidance, support, and mentorship to team members.

Strategic Planning:

• Collaborate with senior management to develop and implement strategic plans for the raw material store department.
• Contribute to the creation and enhancement of departmental policies, procedures, and guidelines.

Inventory Management:

• Oversee the receipt, storage, and issuance of raw materials with accuracy and efficiency.
• Ensure inventory levels meet operational requirements while adhering to quality standards.
• Utilize technology and automation to improve operational workflows.

Quality Standards:

• Work with quality control teams to ensure raw materials meet specified standards.
• Implement and monitor quality assurance measures in material handling and storage.

Documentation and Reporting:

• Maintain accurate records of all raw material transactions.
• Generate regular reports on inventory levels, consumption patterns, and stock-related issues.
• Provide insights and analysis to support management decision-making.

Process Optimization:

• Identify areas for improvement in material handling and storage processes.
• Implement measures to enhance efficiency and reduce lead times.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline workflows.

Supplier Relations:

• Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers to ensure timely and reliable deliveries.
• Collaborate with the procurement team on negotiations and supply chain issue resolution.
• Address supplier-related concerns promptly and effectively.

Compliance and Safety:

• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
• Implement and enforce safety protocols for raw material handling and storage.

Training and Development:

• Train and mentor team members on proper storing, sorting, and material handling techniques.
• Promote adherence to safety procedures and best practices within the tea
