Radiology Manager

Key Responsibilities:

- Manage patient scheduling and coordinate appointments for radiology procedures

- Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and quality standards

- Collaborate with radiologists and technologists to enhance patient care services

- Develop and implement policies and procedures to improve service delivery

- Oversee daily operations of the radiology department, including staffing and resource allocation

- Maintain accurate patient records and ensure timely communication of diagnostic results

- Provide administrative support, including answering phones, greeting patients, and verifying insurance coverage

Qualifications:

- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in a related field, such as healthcare administration or radiologic technology

- Previous experience in a medical environment, preferably in radiology or healthcare administration

- Strong communication and organizational skills, with ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively

- Knowledge of radiology procedures, medical terminology, and healthcare regulations

- Proficiency in healthcare software systems and electronic health records management

- Technical Skills:

- Proficiency in radiology information systems (RIS) and picture archiving and communication systems (PACS)

- Knowledge of medical imaging equipment and software

- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment

Experience Requirements:

- Entry-level positions: 2-5 years of experience in a related field

- Senior roles: 5+ years of experience in radiology or healthcare administration, with demonstrated leadership and management skills
