Job Summary

Kauvery Hospital, Kovilambakkam is seeking an experienced and competent Radiology In-Charge to oversee the daily operations of the Radiology Department, ensure high-quality imaging services, and maintain compliance with safety and regulatory standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and supervise day-to-day operations of the Radiology Department
• Coordinate imaging services including X-ray, CT, MRI, Ultrasound, and other modalities
• Ensure proper functioning, maintenance, and calibration of radiology equipment
• Supervise and schedule radiology technicians and support staff
• Ensure radiation safety and compliance with AERB and statutory regulations
• Maintain quality standards, protocols, and documentation
• Coordinate with radiologists, clinicians, and hospital administration
• Monitor patient flow, safety, and service quality
• Participate in audits, NABH accreditation, and quality improvement initiatives
• Manage inventory, consumables, and vendor coordination

Eligibility Criteria

• Qualification: B.Sc / M.Sc Radiology
• Valid registration with relevant regulatory authority (AERB compliance knowledge preferred)
• 8+ years of experience in hospital radiology services
• Prior supervisory or in-charge experience preferred

• Strong knowledge of radiology procedures and imaging equipment
• Leadership and team management skills
• Knowledge of radiation safety and quality assurance
• Good communication and coordination skills
• Ability to handle departmental operations and emergencies
• Basic computer and HIS/RIS knowledge
