Job Description

Job Summary:

The Radiology Technician Faculty will be responsible for delivering high-quality academic instruction, practical training, and skill development to students enrolled in the Radiology and Imaging Technology program. The faculty member will ensure that students acquire both theoretical knowledge and hands-on expertise in diagnostic imaging procedures, safety standards, and patient care, in accordance with institutional and regulatory guidelines.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver lectures, presentations, and practical demonstrations on radiology and imaging technology subjects.
  • Conduct classroom and laboratory sessions, ensuring active student participation and skill development.
  • Evaluate student performance through assignments, practical exams, and internal assessments.
  • Ensure adherence to radiation safety standards and ethical practices during practical sessions.
  • Guide students in clinical training and internships at affiliated hospitals or diagnostic centers.
  • Maintain accurate records of attendance, academic progress, and assessment outcomes.
  • Coordinate with the academic and administrative teams for smooth program delivery.
  • Mentor and support students in academic and professional development.
  • Stay updated with recent advancements in radiology technology and incorporate them into teaching.

Required Qualifications:

  • Educational Qualification:
  • Bachelor’s or Master's in Radiology and Imaging Technology / Medical Radiologic Technology (BSc MIT/MSC MRIT equivalent).
  • Master’s degree in the relevant field (preferred).
  • Experience:
  • Minimum 2–3 years of teaching or clinical experience in a recognized institution or diagnostic center.
  • Experience in operating X-ray, CT, MRI, and other imaging equipment preferred.
  • Skills and Competencies:
  • Strong theoretical and practical knowledge of radiologic procedures.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to manage classroom and lab sessions effectively.
  • Proficiency in using audiovisual teaching tools and digital learning platforms.
  • Commitment to professional ethics, student welfare, and institutional goals.

Academic Head / Centre Manager

Remuneration:

As per industry standards and candidate’s experience.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹18,000.00 - ₹26,000.00 per month
