Job Description

As a Radiology and Imaging Technologist at our organization, you will play a crucial role in assisting radiologists in the review and analysis of various medical images, such as X-rays, CT scans, MRIs, ultrasounds, and other imaging modalities. Your responsibilities will include preparing patient medical records and imaging studies for interpretation, ensuring proper labelling and organization of images, and collaborating with radiologists to gather clinical information for accurate diagnoses. Additionally, you will communicate effectively with healthcare providers and facility staff, utilize Tele Radiology software for image transmission, and maintain strict confidentiality in handling patient information. Key Responsibilities: - Assist radiologists in reviewing and analyzing medical images - Prepare patient medical records and imaging studies for interpretation - Ensure proper labelling and organization of images and patient data - Collaborate with radiologists to gather clinical information for accurate diagnosis - Communicate effectively with healthcare providers and facility staff - Utilize Tele Radiology software for secure image transmission - Maintain confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA regulations - Participate in ongoing training and professional development - Provide feedback on workflow processes for quality improvement - Assist in other administrative tasks as needed Qualifications Required: - BSc in Radiology and Imaging Technology or Diploma in Radiology & Imaging Technology - 0-2 years of experience, including freshers - Minimum of 2 years of experience in a clinical or healthcare setting - Proficiency in medical terminology and understanding of anatomy and physiology - Strong attention to detail and ability to identify abnormalities in medical images - Excellent written and verbal communication skills - Familiarity with Tele Radiology software and PACS is a plus - Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a remote environment - Commitment to professionalism and confidentiality - Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and work in shifts or weekends as needed Please note that the work week consists of 6 days with all shifts being applicable.
