Job Description

Pre-Read Support

Review uploaded images for completeness and clarity before assigning them to radiologists. Ensure proper series labelling and absence of motion artifacts.

Image Study Preparation

Organize study images (CT, MRI) chronologically and verify that the study type matches the clinical request and referral form.

Clinical Tagging & Case Notes

Add relevant notes such as clinical history, scan limitations, or technical observations to assist radiologists during interpretation.

Post-Read Verification

Cross-check that all sequences/images have been reviewed and match the findings and impressions with available data. Report any mismatch or omissions.

Image Quality Audits

Flag suboptimal scans, request re-uploads from centers when necessary, and maintain records of repeated issues for quality reporting.

Coordination with Radiologists

Collaborate with radiologists for case clarifications, technical inputs, and follow-up instructions. Act as the first responder for radiologist feedback.

Reporting Workflow Support

Ensure radiology reports are accurately linked to the correct image sets and patient IDs before being finalized and shared with the center.

System & PACS Maintenance

Monitor PACS queue, clean up duplicate or failed studies, and report technical glitches to IT support. Maintain daily log of cases handled.

Continuous Learning & SOP Adherence

Stay updated with imaging protocols, contrast usage, and new imaging trends. Strictly follow SOPs and radiologist preferences for case handling.
