Job Description

Clinical Duties: Interpret and report on various imaging modalities, including X-rays, CT scans, MRI, ultrasound, and fluoroscopy. Provide expert guidance to referring clinicians on radiological findings and recommend further investigations or treatment options. Perform and supervise interventional radiology procedures where applicable. Ensure timely and accurate radiology reporting to support effective patient management. Maintain high standards of patient safety and adhere to clinical governance policies. Administrative Duties: Oversee the functioning of the radiology department and contribute to policy development. Participate in multidisciplinary meetings, case discussions, and clinical audits. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and quality standards. Assist in procurement and maintenance of radiology equipment. Teaching & Research: Supervise and mentor junior radiologists, radiographers, and medical students. Participate in continuing medical education (CME) and training programs. Conduct research and contribute to scientific publications and conferences. Qualifications & Experience: Medical degree (MBBS, MD, or equivalent) from a recognized institution. Postgraduate qualification in Radiology (FRCR, MD Radiology, DNB, or equivalent). Board certification or specialist registration in Radiology. Minimum of [X] years of experience as a practicing radiologist. Proficiency in cross-sectional imaging and interventional radiology is an advantage. Strong knowledge of imaging protocols, radiation safety, and quality control measures.
