Job Description

As a Chest Radiologist at Siemens Healthcare Technology Center in Princeton, NJ, you will play a crucial role in advancing AI-based solutions in medical imaging. Collaborating with data scientists, AI engineers, and clinical teams, you will contribute your clinical expertise in thoracic imaging to develop, validate, and deploy AI-driven diagnostic tools. This position offers an exciting opportunity to integrate clinical radiology with cutting-edge technology, shaping the future of AI in healthcare. **Key Responsibilities:** - Develop algorithms for automated detection, diagnosis, and quantification of thoracic diseases like lung cancer, pneumonia, and interstitial lung disease in medical imaging. - Lead clinical validation efforts for AI models, evaluate algorithm performance, ensure diagnostic accuracy, and compare AI outputs against radiologist interpretation. - Provide expert annotations and guidance on chest imaging datasets to enhance AI model training and maintain the quality and consistency of labeled datasets. - Collaborate with AI developers to refine algorithms, offer clinical feedback for improvement, and integrate AI solutions into radiology workflows. **Qualifications Required:** - Hold a Doctor of Medicine (MD) degree with board certification in Diagnostic Radiology. - Completed fellowship training in Chest or Thoracic Imaging. - Minimum of 5 years of experience in chest imaging, particularly in diagnosing pulmonary and thoracic conditions. - Experience in AI development, clinical research, or advanced imaging techniques is highly desirable. - Proficiency in AI applications in medical imaging, familiarity with automated segmentation, classification, and detection algorithms, as well as experience with AI platforms, machine learning models, and medical imaging software will be beneficial. - Strong communication and collaboration skills are essential for effectively working in a multidisciplinary team environment.
