Summary:

We are seeking a motivated Radiation Oncologist to join our multidisciplinary oncology team at a leading medical institution. This role focuses on delivering precision radiation therapy for solid tumors and hematologic malignancies, supporting comprehensive cancer care through advanced techniques like IMRT, SBRT, and IGRT. The ideal candidate will contribute to individualized treatment planning, collaborate with specialists across disciplines, and engage in patient-centered care, research, and continuous professional growth. Responsibilities:

  • Conduct patient evaluations including history, physical exams, and imaging interpretation to guide treatment planning.
  • Perform accurate cancer staging using AJCC/UICC guidelines for solid tumors and hematologic malignancies.
  • Develop and implement personalized radiation therapy plans in alignment with multidisciplinary tumor board recommendations.
  • Deliver advanced radiation therapies (IMRT, SBRT, IGRT) with precision to maximize tumor control and minimize toxicity.
  • Interpret bone marrow biopsy results and integrate findings into clinical decision-making.
  • Monitor and manage acute and late radiation-related side effects with timely intervention.
  • Collaborate with medical oncologists to incorporate chemotherapy, immunotherapy, and targeted therapies into multimodal regimens.
  • Maintain accurate, timely documentation in electronic medical records.
  • Participate in clinical research, quality improvement initiatives, and professional development.
  • Provide clear patient education on treatment procedures, outcomes, and potential side effects.

Requirements:

  • MBBS or equivalent medical degree with postgraduate training in Radiation Oncology (MD/DM/DNB in Radiation Oncology).
  • Solid understanding of solid tumors and hematologic malignancies, including their biology and management.
  • Proficiency in cancer staging (TNM classification) and familiarity with NCCN, ESMO guidelines.
  • Training or experience in chemotherapy, immunotherapy, and targeted therapy within multimodal cancer care.
  • Ability to interpret bone marrow biopsy results and correlate with clinical and imaging data.
  • Familiarity with radiation therapy planning systems (e.g., Eclipse, RayStation) and treatment delivery platforms.
  • Strong communication, teamwork, and interpersonal skills in a multidisciplinary setting.
  • Commitment to patient safety, ethical practice, and lifelong learning.
  • Valid medical license and registration with the National Medical Commission (NMC) or equivalent.
  • Willingness to work in a fast-paced environment with rotating shifts and on-call duties as required.
