R & D Lab Technician

Role: The job holder is responsible for assisting Head R & D in NPD Trials, EPD, New Development of Seasoning of Seasoning for Meat & snacking industries

Accountabilities:

• Knowledge about Taste profile, Sensory Evaluation, expert in identifying taste profile
• Evaluate samples of ingredients against controlled samples.
• Assist in maintaining R & D records as per regulatory requirements.
• Developed new seasoning and blends depending upon customer requirement
• Application on Finished good & rectify required changes as per suggestion of customer
• Involved in blending facility when commercial trials or production happened in plant
• Ready to visit customer, understanding their daily challenges and try to resolve it
• Adhere to SOPs, GHP and Company Policies and Procedures.
• Maintain daily Record -SOP work record of R&D Lab facility and trials record
• Prepare work instructions and finished product specifications.
• Send product samples to various sales locations as requested by the customer.
• Comply with Good Hygiene Practices and Quality, Food Safety, HSE, BRC and Halal Standards
• Make ready samples to handover to sales team for customer as per standard SOP
• Housekeeping of the kitchen
• Maintain detailed records of R & D Lab experiments.
• Adhere to Company's Policies and Procedures

Measures

• Cleanliness of kitchen
• Daily trial in Lab as per requirements
• Finished Good need to prepare as per instruction and requirement from customer

Knowledge, Skills & Experience

Food Technologist prefer or any other same level degree

0 - 2 years' experience in kitchen (cooking)- compulsory

0 - 3 years' experience in Seasoning Industries or spice blending facility

Ability to work under pressure

Knowledge of Culinary concepts (Frying, chopping etc.,

Good knowledge and understanding of process

Aware about GHP, HACCP, ISO 9001, ISO 22000, BRC 8 Halal

Salary Range: As per company policy
