Quote Builder Back-End developers

As a skilled Back-End Developer with 57 years of hands-on experience in backend development, your role will involve designing, developing, and maintaining server-side logic and APIs for Quote Builder applications. You will collaborate closely with front-end developers, architects, and business analysts to deliver robust and scalable backend solutions. Your responsibilities will include building and maintaining integrations with CRM, pricing, and product configuration systems, developing and optimizing database schemas, stored procedures, and data access layers, implementing best practices for security, scalability, and performance, performing code reviews, debugging, and troubleshooting, integrating third-party services and APIs as needed, and participating in Agile/Scrum ceremonies. **Key Responsibilities:** - Design, develop, and maintain server-side logic and APIs for Quote Builder applications. - Collaborate closely with front-end developers, architects, and business analysts to deliver robust and scalable backend solutions. - Build and maintain integrations with CRM, pricing, and product configuration systems (e.g., Salesforce, Oracle CPQ). - Develop and optimize database schemas, stored procedures, and data access layers. - Implement best practices for security, scalability, and performance. - Perform code reviews, debugging, and troubleshooting. - Integrate third-party services and APIs as needed. - Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and contribute to sprint planning and estimation. **Required Skills and Qualifications:** - 57 years of hands-on experience in backend development. - Strong proficiency in Node.js, Java, .NET Core, or Python (based on project stack). - Experience developing RESTful APIs and microservices architectures. - Solid understanding of SQL and NoSQL databases (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB). - Familiarity with API integration and authentication mechanisms (OAuth, JWT). - Experience working with CI/CD pipelines and version control systems (Git, Bitbucket). - Strong problem-solving, debugging, and performance-tuning skills. - Familiarity with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) is a plus. **Preferred Skills:** - Prior experience working on CPQ or Quote-to-Cash platforms. - Knowledge of Salesforce CPQ, Oracle CPQ Cloud, or similar systems. - Experience in cloud environments such as AWS or Azure. - Familiarity with GraphQL or gRPC APIs. - Understanding of DevOps practices and deployment automation.
