Quantity Surveyor Civil (Infrastructure)

Role Overview: As a Quantity Surveyor Civil (Infrastructure) at Assystem Stup, your role is critical within the organization, requiring a high level of expertise and attention to detail. You will be responsible for conducting thorough analysis and interpretation of tender documents and drawings to extract optimal quantities with utmost precision. Your tasks will include preparing comprehensive Bills of Quantities (BOQs) for complex infrastructure projects such as Highways, Bridges, Railways, Flyovers, and both Elevated and Underground Metros. Additionally, you will be developing detailed rate analyses for civil engineering items and providing critical value-engineering inputs to ensure optimal cost-effectiveness and efficiency. Key Responsibilities: - Conduct thorough analysis and interpretation of tender documents and drawings to extract optimal quantities with utmost precision. - Prepare comprehensive Bills of Quantities (BOQs) for complex infrastructure projects. - Develop detailed rate analyses for civil engineering items and provide substantiated inputs, backups, and justifications. - Identify, quantify, and compile precise costings for utility-related issues. - Provide critical value-engineering inputs for various project stages. - Conduct comprehensive rate analyses for items related to Bridge and Road work. - Produce precise Bar Bending Schedules (BBS) in strict accordance with the Detail design drawings. Qualifications Required: - Educational Requirements: Bachelor of Engineering (BE) or Diploma in Civil Engineering from an accredited institution is mandatory. - Professional Experience: A minimum of 3 - 5 years of demonstrable experience in quantity surveying for large-scale infrastructure projects is essential. Candidates must possess a proven track record in handling complex civil engineering assignments. - Technical Proficiency: Extensive knowledge of civil engineering principles, construction methodologies, and quantity surveying techniques is crucial. Proficiency in industry-standard software for quantity takeoffs and cost estimation is required. - Analytical Skills: Exceptional ability to interpret technical drawings, specifications, and contract documents with precision is imperative.
