Job Description

Cost Estimation and Budgeting: Preparing detailed cost estimates and budgets for construction projects, including materials, labor, and other resources. Cost Management and Control: Monitoring project costs, identifying and mitigating potential cost overruns, and implementing cost-saving measures. Tender Management: Preparing tender documents, evaluating bids from contractors, and managing the procurement process. Contract Management: Preparing and managing construction contracts, including variations and change orders. Financial Reporting: Providing regular financial reports on project costs, performance, and variances. Risk Management: Identifying and assessing commercial risks associated with the project, such as market fluctuations and potential cost increases. Value Engineering: Analyzing project designs and specifications to identify opportunities for cost savings without compromising quality. Liaising with Stakeholders: Communicating with clients, contractors, architects, engineers, and other stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle. Ensuring Compliance: Ensuring compliance with relevant building regulations, health and safety standards, and contract requirements.
