Quantitative Analyst

As a Quantitative Analyst at Morningstar in Vashi, Navi Mumbai, you will be part of the Morningstar Indexes Team, a group that specializes in creating innovative investment solutions using expertise in equity research, manager research, asset allocation, and portfolio construction. Morningstar Indexes offers a wide range of global equity, bond, commodity, and asset allocation indexes to empower investors in achieving their financial goals. Your primary responsibility will be to manage Morningstar indexes across different asset classes, enhance index methodologies, and provide research and analytics support to clients. You will play a crucial role in maintaining the Equity Universe, managing corporate events, ensuring accurate calculation of index levels, and communicating effectively with internal and external stakeholders regarding index methodologies and issue resolution. To excel in this role, you should hold a Bachelors or Masters degree in Engineering, Finance, Economics, or Management, and have at least 4 years of relevant work experience. Progress towards CFA certification is mandatory, along with proficiency in MS Office, SQL, and Python. Strong written and verbal communication skills are essential, as well as the ability to collaborate with global teams and deliver quality outcomes within tight deadlines.
