Quality Technician - Level II

Role Overview: As a Support Engineer, your primary responsibility will be to assist Engineers in executing production-related tasks and monitoring materials quality in processing plants. You will play a crucial role in identifying defects by comparing physical characteristics of components, materials, equipment, and products to technical specifications. Additionally, you will be responsible for conducting simple tests, recording test results, and preparing technical reports. Your role will involve operating under moderate supervision and collaborating effectively on the shop floor to address quality concerns and ensure process adherence. Key Responsibilities: - Compare the physical characteristics of components, materials, equipment, and products to technical specifications to identify defects. - Conduct simple tests, such as electrical function, reliability, and packaging quality. - Record test results and prepare straightforward technical reports. - Perform product and component testing using various measurement equipment. - Assist customers in understanding and interpreting product specifications and applying measurement data. - Participate in measurement uncertainty studies for measurement and calibration results. - Ensure the proper maintenance and calibration of measurement and testing equipment. - Assist with final product quality verification on the production line. - Collaborate effectively on the shop floor to address quality concerns and ensure process adherence. Qualifications Required: - Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field. - Previous experience in a similar role would be advantageous. - Strong attention to detail and analytical skills. - Ability to effectively communicate technical information. - Proficiency in using measurement equipment and tools. - Knowledge of quality control processes and procedures. - Ability to work well in a team and independently. - Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and processes.,
