Quality & Safety Engineer (AV & UC Projects)

Role Overview: You will be responsible for overseeing the quality assurance and safety compliance of AV/UC projects at All Wave AV Systems. Your role will involve implementing AV9000 Quality Standards, conducting safety audits, and coordinating with project teams to ensure adherence to design specifications and safety regulations. Key Responsibilities: - Implement AV9000 Quality Standards to ensure flawless functionality of AV/UC systems - Develop and execute quality control processes to meet design specifications and client requirements - Conduct detailed inspections at key project milestones to verify system accuracy and compliance with AV9000 standards - Maintain thorough documentation of quality checks, test results, and corrective actions taken during projects - Conduct safety audits for project sites to ensure compliance with regulations and standards - Identify potential hazards during installations and recommend preventive measures - Train project teams on safety protocols and monitor ongoing projects for a safe working environment - Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and technicians to address quality or safety concerns - Work closely with vendors and contractors to ensure materials meet quality benchmarks and safety standards - Analyze project issues and propose process improvements for risk minimization - Stay updated on industry best practices in quality assurance and safety management for AV/UC projects Qualifications Required: - Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Electrical/Electronics/Mechanical) or a related technical discipline - Certifications in Quality Assurance or Safety Management are a plus - Minimum 2 years of experience in QA/QC roles within the AV/UC or IT infrastructure industry - Strong technical knowledge of AV/UC systems and familiarity with AV9000 standards - Expertise in conducting safety audits and implementing safety protocols on project sites - Proficiency in tools for quality testing, reporting, and documentation (e.g., MS Office) Additional Details: All Wave AV Systems is a leading Audio-Visual (AV) and Unified Collaboration (UC) solutions provider with over 24 years of expertise.
