Job Description

Qualification:

  • B.E. / B.Tech in Mechanical or Electrical (Must)
  • M.E / M.Tech in Mechanical or Electrical 

Role & Responsibilities

  • Lead the overall QA/QC operations across pump and turbine manufacturing units.
  • Develop and implement process improvement mechanisms to enhance product quality and reliability.
  • Strengthen quality control systems across foundry, machining, assembly, and testing operations.
  • Establish effective customer-supplier interfaces to expedite document approvals and feedback closure.
  • Implement TPM (Total Productive Maintenance) initiatives focusing on Quality and Office Pillars.
  • Monitor and analyze quality performance metrics, ensuring adherence to QMS and ISO 9001:2015 standards.
  • Conduct internal and external audits (system, process, and product) and ensure timely closure of NCs through CAPA.
  • Lead cross-functional teams to perform root cause analysis using QC tools such as 8D, FMEA, DOE, and RCA.
  • Drive Six Sigma and Kaizen initiatives to reduce rework, improve first-pass yield, and achieve cost savings.
  • Train and mentor team members in quality tools, inspection systems, and continuous improvement culture.
  • Support customer visits, audits, and technical documentation for domestic and international clients.

Key Skills & Competencies

  • Strong analytical, inspection, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in SAP (QM & PP Modules), Minitab, and MS Office.
  • Expert in Quality Tools: Six Sigma (DMAIC), FMEA, MSA, 8D, RCA, and SPC.
  • In-depth understanding of foundry, machining, and pump manufacturing processes.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and team coordination skills.
  • Ability to drive organizational change through TPM and lean practices.
