Quality Executive

As a Quality Control Inspector in the textile industry, your main responsibility is to ensure the quality of raw materials and finished products meets the specified standards. You will be required to conduct inspections on incoming raw materials such as fabrics, yarn, trims, and dyes to verify they adhere to the set specifications. Monitoring the in-process production is crucial to maintain consistent quality levels throughout the manufacturing process. Your role also involves performing final product inspections before shipment, identifying and classifying defects at all stages, and conducting standard textile tests like GSM, tensile strength, shrinkage, and colorfastness. It is essential to maintain detailed inspection logs, quality reports, and testing records for documentation purposes. Collaboration with production teams is necessary to address and rectify any quality deviations promptly. Ensuring that all products align with buyer-approved samples and quality standards is vital. Adhering to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), industry regulations, and Acceptable Quality Limit (AQL) inspection procedures is imperative in this role. You will be expected to propose process enhancements to minimize rejections and wastage, prepare documentation for quality audits and certifications, and provide training to production staff on quality control procedures and best practices. Moreover, collaborating with suppliers to resolve material quality issues and reporting daily quality performance to management are key aspects of the job. Your active involvement in supporting continuous improvement initiatives in quality processes will contribute to the overall enhancement of product quality.
