Job Title

Quality Engineer (Functional Tester) Hyderabad (Work From Office)

Hiring Quality Engineer with 2-6 years’ experience to review functional requirements, develop and execute test cases, report bugs, and support release readiness. Responsible for troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and ensuring efficient testing in an Agile/SCRUM environment.

Responsibilities

Review business/functional requirements, produce test strategy/test cases
Develop, execute, and maintain test cases for application features
Report and triage bugs, ensure issue resolution
Provide timely status updates for release decisions
Participate in full lifecycle development and quality processes
Troubleshoot software/hardware configuration problems
Perform root cause analysis for escalations
Communicate test plans/status, ensure on-time testing
Automation experience/exposure is a plus

Skills & Qualifications

Bachelor’s in Computer Science/IT/related field
2-6 years in QA/testing web-based apps
Hands-on with Web API, Web Site, PostMan
Experience with JIRA, TestRails, or similar
SQL/Oracle environment knowledge
Agile/SCRUM methodology experience
Programming in Python/Java is a plus
Exposure to automation tools is a plus
Strong problem-solving & analytical skills
Ability to prioritize, multitask, and work under pressure
Excellent communication and organization skills
