Quality Engineer

Job Description:
We are looking for a highly skilled Manual and Automation Tester with 5 years of experience in testing, including a solid 3 years of experience in manual testing and 2 years of experience in automation testing. This role requires expertise in React Native applications, proficiency with Detox, Appium, JavaScript, and hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines.

As a Senior Tester, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and executing test cases, both manual and automated, for our mobile and web applications. You will work closely with the development team to ensure that the software meets the highest quality standards and is delivered on time.

Key Responsibilities:Design and execute manual test cases for mobile applications (React Native).Develop, maintain, and run automated test scripts using Detox and Appium for React Native applications.Write test plans and document test results, identifying and tracking issues through completion.Perform functional, regression, integration, and end-to-end testing.Continuously improve and refactor automated test scripts to enhance test coverage and efficiency.Collaborate with the development team to ensure test automation is integrated into the CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, CircleCI, etc.).Troubleshoot issues with automation scripts and identify root causes of test failures.Participate in daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives to ensure the timely delivery of quality software.Communicate effectively with developers, QA engineers, and product managers regarding testing requirements, test progress, and defects.

Key Skills & Qualifications:5+ years of experience in software testing with a combination of manual and automation testing.3+ years of experience in manual testing, focusing on mobile applications.2+ years of experience in automation testing with a strong focus on React Native applications.Expertise in Detox and Appium for mobile application automation.Proficiency in JavaScript for writing automated test scripts.Strong understanding of CI/CD pipelines and experience in integrating automated tests with tools like Jenkins, CircleCI, or similar.Solid understanding of mobile application testing (iOS and Android) and cross-platform testing (React Native).Familiarity with test management tools like Jira, TestRail, or similar.Strong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot complex issues with both manual and automated tests.Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with a collaborative approach to teamwork.Strong attention to detail and a passion for delivering high-quality products.
