Job Description

Job Title: Footwear Quality Assurance Specialist Responsibilities:

Knowledge of footwear quality standards
Understanding of sports shoe performance parameters
Material knowledge including synthetic, EVA, PU, rubber, mesh, and knit materials
Familiarity with adhesives and bonding methods
Conducting in-process inspection methods (cutting, stitching, assembly, finishing)
Performing first article inspection (FAI) and final product audits
Executing mechanical and functional testing (compression, flex, abrasion, tensile strength)
Coordinating lab activities for physical and chemical testing
Conducting defect analysis using 5 Whys and Fishbone diagrams
Implementing Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPA)

Required Qualifications:

Proven experience in footwear quality assurance or a related field
Strong understanding of materials and manufacturing processes
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
Effective communication skills

Experience Level:

Minimum of 5 years of experience in quality assurance within the footwear industry is preferred.
