Quality Engineer

As a Test Automation Engineer, you will be responsible for designing test strategies, plans, and automation frameworks to ensure the quality of the software products. Your key responsibilities will include: - Designing test strategies, plans, and automation frameworks. - Performing manual and automated API testing using tools like Rest Assured, Postman, and Karate. - Writing clean test automation code in Java. - Analyzing test logs, reporting bugs, and collaborating with cross-functional teams. - Testing across platforms including Android Studio, XCode, and tools like Charles Proxy and ADB. - Working in an Agile environment with Dev, QA, Product, and DevOps teams. - Conducting backend testing and validating using SQL/DB queries. In addition, it would be beneficial if you have experience with NoSQL, security testing, and Unix scripting. Familiarity with tools like Kibana, Grafana, Kafka, RabbitMQ, and Crashlytics is considered a plus. Knowledge of NFR testing such as battery usage, data usage, and crash monitoring, as well as exposure to performance testing tools like JMeter, Gatling, or Golang tools, is advantageous.
