Job Description

Job Title: CO2 Welder Job Location: Kachohalli Department: Production / Fabrication / Welding Industry: Manufacturing / Engineering / Metal Works Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled CO2 Welder (MIG Welder) to join our fabrication team. The ideal candidate will have experience in welding mild steel using CO2/MIG welding techniques and should be able to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints. Key Responsibilities: Perform CO2 (MIG) welding on mild steel and metal components as per drawings. Understand and interpret welding blueprints, technical drawings, and work instructions. Set up and operate welding machines and tools accurately. Inspect welds for accuracy and quality; perform necessary corrections. Maintain a clean and safe working environment. Adhere to safety standards and company procedures. Collaborate with team members, supervisors, and quality control for smooth workflow. Qualifications: ITI / Diploma in Welding or equivalent work experience. Proven work experience as a CO2/MIG Welder (minimum 1–2 years preferred). Ability to read and understand engineering drawings. Knowledge of welding symbols and procedures. Basic knowledge of welding tools, safety gear, and protective equipment. Skills Required: Proficiency in CO2 and MIG/TIG/Arc welding. Strong attention to detail and quality. Physical stamina and ability to work in standing positions for long hours. Ability to follow instructions and work independently or as part of a team.
