Quality Engineer

Role & responsibilities

• Implement and maintain the project's Quality Assurance & Quality Control procedures as per company standards and project requirements.
• Conduct regular inspections and testing of construction materials and workmanship at the site.
• Prepare and maintain QA/QC documentation such as Inspection Test Plans (ITP), Checklists, Method Statements, and Quality Reports.
• Coordinate with site engineers, contractors, to resolve quality issues.
• Ensure material approvals, calibration certificates, and test reports are in compliance with standards.
• Supervise third-party and in-house testing activities for concrete, steel, aggregates, etc.
• Maintain records of non-conformance reports (NCRs) and follow up on corrective and preventive actions.
• Conduct internal quality audits and ensure continual improvement in quality systems.
• Support the Project Manager and Site Team in achieving project quality objectives.
• Ensure compliance with IS codes, project specifications, and safety standards.

Preferred candidate profile

• Sound knowledge of

  QA/QC procedures

  , testing standards, and construction codes.
• Hands-on experience with

  concrete, steel, finishing, and infrastructure works

  .
• Strong documentation and communication skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office, AutoCAD (basic), and QA/QC documentation.
• Should have exposure to

  RCC, finishing, and external development works
