Key Responsibilities:

Monitor in-process quality during plastic injection moulding production.
Prepare and maintain
PPAP, APQP, FMEA, MSA, SPC
documentation.
Inspect incoming, in-process, and outgoing parts using tools like Vernier, Micrometer, Height Gauge, etc.
Handle customer complaints using
8D / CAPA
methodology.
Conduct
Root Cause Analysis
and take corrective/preventive action.
Ensure compliance with
ISO 9001 / IATF 16949 / ISO 14001
standards.
Maintain and implement Quality Control Plans and Work Instructions.
Coordinate with Production, Maintenance, and Tool Room for quality improvements.
Conduct internal audits and support external audits (Customer, Certification Bodies).
Train operators on quality parameters and defect identification.

Key Skills Required:

Good knowledge of
plastic material behavior
and defects (sink mark, flash, short shot, etc.)
Proficiency in using
measuring instruments
and gauges.
Familiarity with
mould qualification and validation
process.
Understanding of
GD&T
and engineering drawings.
Effective communication and documentation skills.
Hands-on experience in using
ERP
or
quality data management software
.
