Quality Engineer

Role & responsibilities

• Ensure that all requisite client & API standards are met with regard to quality of products (from source to final delivery).
• Devise and review specifications for products or processes.
• Set requirements for raw materials or intermediate products for suppliers and monitor their compliance.
• Supervise inspectors, technicians, and other staff and provide guidance and feedback as required.
• Support product development procedures to identify deviations from quality standards.
• Implement QMS, including Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) / Quality Improvement Plan (QIP).
• Implement Inspection and Test Plan (ITP) / Checklists / Work Instructions / Quality Assurance Plan (QAP) /Manuals at all production stages.
• Ensure that the work is executed/delivered as per approved Drawings / Standards.
• Ensure implementation & maintenance of all QMS-related documents/records.

Preferred candidate profile

• 3-8 years of relevant experience in related industry. Title and compensation will vary basis experience.
• Desire to own projects and exceed expectations, with ability to find solutions and deliver results within a rapidly changing, entrepreneurial, technology-driven culture
• Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with management and cross-functional teams, for both technical and non-technical audiences
• Interface with technical support internally to resolve issues that directly impact partners
