Quality Control Supervisor

As a Quality Control Supervisor at Globe Print N Pack, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality of products in the Printing & Packaging Industry. Your commitment, knowledge, and experience in manufacturing will be key to success in this role. **Roles & Responsibilities:** - **Incoming Material Inspection** - Verify quality of raw materials such as Paper, PP Sheets, Cartons, Adhesives, Inks, etc. - Check supplier compliance with specifications. - Reject or quarantine non-conforming materials. - **In-Process Quality Checks** - Monitor packaging operations including filling, sealing, and labeling. - Ensure machines are calibrated and functioning correctly. - Spot-check for alignment, print clarity, and seal strength. - **Final Product Inspection** - Inspect finished packages for correct labeling, barcodes, sealing, and tamper evidence. - Check for aesthetic defects like scratches, smudges, and misprints. - Conduct sampling based on AQL standards. - **Testing & Validation** - Perform tests such as drop test, compression test, leak test, and shelf-life simulation. - Validate packaging against regulatory and customer requirements. - **Documentation & Reporting** - Record inspection results and deviations. - Maintain traceability of batches. - Prepare quality reports for audits and reviews. - Prepare COA for every Order and circulate to respective team member. - **Non-Conformance Handling** - Identify and segregate defective items. - Initiate CAPA (Corrective and Preventive Action). - Collaborate with QA and production to resolve issues. - **Compliance & Standards** - Ensure packaging meets industry standards like ISO, GMP, and FDA. - Support internal and external audits. - Stay updated on regulatory changes. **QUALITY** - Work on all parameters of Quality in Inward, In Process, and Outward Goods. - Set detailed guidelines on quality standards. - Update Quality Management System (QMS) with incidents, fixes, and improvements. - Determine quality metrics for all manufacturing procedures. - Monitor production cycle and perform regular tests. **SUPPORT** - Offer technology support to Sales and Purchase departments. - Improve product quality to increase customer satisfaction. **MAINTENANCE** - Maintain all machines & equipment at the factory. **Requirements and Skills:** - Previous work experience as a Quality Supervisor in printing & packaging or similar industry. - Exposure to Systems & Testing Equipments would be advantageous. - In-depth understanding of technical documentation. - Good communication, team management, and analytical skills. **Experience of Industry:** - Printing & Packaging (Paper Board, PP Sheets, PET Sheets) - FMCG Industry This is a full-time, permanent position with benefits including commuter assistance, health insurance, and provident fund.
