Quality Control Manager

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the Quality Control team, ensuring daily inspections and quality processes are carried out effectively.
• Perform and supervise

  CMM programming, operation, and inspection

  for complex aerospace components.
• Conduct

  FARO arm 3D measurements

  and dimensional validation.
• Review, analyse, and approve inspection reports, first article inspection (FAI), and final inspection documentation.
• Drive root cause analysis (RCA) and corrective/preventive actions (CAPA) for internal and customer-reported nonconformities.
• Ensure compliance with

  AS9100, ISO 9001

  , and customer-specific standards.
• Coordinate with Production, Design, and Manufacturing Engineering teams to resolve quality issues.
• Maintain calibration records and ensure measuring instruments are maintained as per schedule.
• Prepare QC metrics, reports, and continuous improvement initiatives (Kaizen, 5S, Lean Quality).
• Support customer audits, internal audits, and regulatory inspections relevant to defence/aerospace components.

Required Skills & Competencies

• Strong hands-on expertise in

  CMM operation/programming

  (any major software like PC-DMIS, Calypso, etc.).
• Proficiency in

  FARO arm/portable CMM

  and GD&T.
• Understanding of aerospace/defence machining, tolerances, and quality standards.
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings, 3D models, and technical specifications.
• Knowledge of FAI, PPAP (if applicable), and quality documentation.
• Strong problem-solving, analytical, and team-management skills.
• Good communication skills with ability to interact with customers and audit teams.
