Quality Control Engineer

Roles and Responsibilities:

1. Stage wise inspection as per Check sheet / QAP

2. Raw Material offering to Third Party Inspector as per job card / Check sheet / QAP

3. Preparation of Check sheet as per Customer Specifications / Technical Data Sheet

4. Preparation of Raw Material Inspection reports, heat charts

5. Co-ordination with Receipt QC for material Test certificate

6. Material Test Certificate review as per specifications/drawings

7. Ensure RFT during material offering & stage inspection

8. Take part in ISO/ASME/PED/HSE audits and comply to the respective requirements

9. Carry out quality assessment measures of all the products ready to be shipped and incoming raw materials

10. Take a thorough look at the plans, specifications, and blueprints to understand the product requirements

11. Resolving quality-related issues adhering to deadlines

12. Prepare documentation of the inspection process, which includes detailed reports and performance records

13. Guide the production team about the quality control issues to enhance the quality of the product

14. Preparation of Inspection folders / dossier as per customer requirements

15. Inspection of Final completed jobs as per Customer scope of supply

16. Knowledge of Bought out item/instruments is added advantage

17. Handling customer complaints and resolving the issues as per timeline

1. Conversant with ASME/EN/PED codes

2. Knowledge of DT/NDT/Raw Material Specifications

3. Awareness about ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45000 codes

4. Sound knowledge of Welding processes, WPS, PQR, WPQ & its code wise application

5. Hands on Experience of Inspection, Inspection Tools & instruments, drawing reading, welding inspection

6. Aware about QMS, processes & its significance

7. Awareness about different QC tools, 5S & its application in day to day work

8. Conversant with MS Office (Word. Excel, PowerPoint) and computer skills

9. Experience in Heat Exchangers/Boilers/Pressure Vessels/Heaters is preferred
