Quality Control Engineer

As a Quality Control Inspector, your role will involve performing in-process and final inspection of raw materials, components, subassemblies, and finished products. You will be responsible for developing and maintaining inspection procedures, checklists, and test protocols. Your duties will include conducting dimensional, visual, functional, and environmental testing as per applicable standards. Additionally, you will be maintaining quality records, inspection reports, calibration logs, and non-conformance reports. Your tasks will also involve preparing and reviewing QC-related documentation such as test certificates, inspection reports, and batch release notes. Monitoring and analyzing production processes to ensure adherence to specifications and standards will be a key part of your responsibilities. Ensuring that products comply with applicable industry standards such as ISO 9001, ISO 17025, IEC, etc., will be crucial. You will also support internal and external quality audits and implement audit findings. Collaborating with production, design, procurement, and suppliers to resolve quality-related issues and providing feedback to improve product design and process capability will be part of your daily tasks. Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics, Instrumentation, or Industrial Engineering or equivalent - Proficiency in using measuring instruments such as vernier caliper, micrometer, multimeter, etc. - Experience in electronics, electromechanical assemblies, or sensor-based product manufacturing In addition to the above responsibilities and qualifications, the company is located in Howrah and requires a minimum of 3 years of experience in quality control, measuring instruments, and electronic or electromechanical products. The work schedule is full-time during day shifts. The company prefers candidates who have worked with products like control panels, RTUs, sensors, or SCADA systems. This job is an in-person role.,
