Quality Cloud Architect

In your role as a Quality Cloud Architect (Lead DevOps Engineer) at ClearRoute, your responsibilities will include: - Leading the assessment and transformation of existing infrastructure management and deployment pipelines. - Architecting and implementing unified DevOps frameworks across on-premises and AWS cloud environments. - Driving the adoption of modern Infrastructure as Code (IaC), configuration management, and GitOps practices. - Integrating tools and processes across provisioning, OS patching, and CMDB. - Guiding containerization, orchestration, and workload optimization initiatives. - Collaborating with cross-functional teams to reduce deployment complexity and cognitive load. - Building automation to enable dynamic workload placement and lifecycle management. To qualify for this role, you should have: - 8+ years of DevOps experience with large-scale, hybrid infrastructure. - Expertise in AWS, VMware, Linux (RHEL), Infrastructure as Code tools like Terraform and Ansible/Chef. - Deep understanding of CI/CD, GitOps, and container platforms such as Kubernetes and EKS. - Proven experience in integrating disparate infrastructure tools and automating end-to-end workflows. - Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to influence architecture and operations. - Experience in performance-sensitive environments would be a plus. Additionally, it would be nice to have experience with: - Legacy-to-cloud migration and M&A infrastructure integration. - Cost optimization and license rationalization in platforms like VMware and AWS. - Understanding of Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) principles and platform engineering practices.
