Quality Automation Specialist

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Support the Quality Manager in executing the test strategy and quality initiatives.
• Determine and advise on which tests should be automated at various layers.
• Ensure comprehensive coverage of test plans with appropriate test scenarios.
• Create and maintain various test and automation suites, including smoke tests, full regression tests, and end-to-end system regression tests.
• Analyze results from automated tests and provide actionable insights to the business and team.
• Collaborate with the feature team to enhance quality and efficiency in testing processes.
• Engage in functional and non-functional testing, including system, integration, user, load, and security testing.
• Communicate complex technical concepts clearly to peers and management.
• Foster good collaboration and stakeholder management skills.

Skills Required:

• Strong hands-on experience in mobile automation testing using Appium with Java.
• Knowledge of BDD frameworks such as Cucumber for behavior-driven testing.
• Familiarity with cloud-based testing platforms (e.g., BrowserStack, Sauce Labs).
• Experience with continuous integration tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD).
• Proficiency in test planning, execution, and defect management tools (e.g., JIRA, TestRail).
• Good understanding of API testing, performance testing, and security testing concepts.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in an Agile/Scrum environment.
