Description
Key Responsibilities Design, develop, and maintain automated test frameworks , scripts, and test cases for various software applications. Build and maintain test automation frameworks using Selenium with Java or Python . Develop end-to-end API automation , integrating inputs and outputs across multiple APIs. Execute automated test suites across different environments (development, staging, production). Ensure sanity test environment readiness during SFT/UAT phases and take ownership of environment validation. Lead large QA teams across multiple portfolios or programs and mentor junior team members. Conduct thorough test planning, test case design, test execution , and test reporting following Agile methodologies. Participate in code reviews and provide feedback to enhance quality and maintainability. Analyze test results, identify defects, and collaborate with developers for swift resolution. Proactively identify areas for automation , optimization , and continuous testing process improvements. Stay current with advancements in automation tools and testing best practices. Troubleshoot issues in complex systems during end-to-end and fullstack testing. Contribute to and maintain a comprehensive test automation strategy. Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure coordination throughout the SDLC . (Preferred) Implement and execute performance tests using JMeter or LoadRunner . Proactively assess and mitigate risks related to software quality. Required Skills and Qualifications Strong experience with automated testing tools and frameworks such as Selenium, Appium, JUnit, TestNG . Proficiency in Java , Python , Golang , or JavaScript for automation script development. Experience in API testing and automation . Working knowledge of cloud , containerized , and VM-based environments . Excellent understanding of Agile and SAFe methodologies . Strong understanding of test lifecycle , including planning, execution, and reporting. Effective problem-solving and analytical skills. Clear communication and ability to collaborate with developers, DevOps, and business teams. Familiar with CI/CD pipelines and integration in test environments. Preferred Skills Experience with performance testing tools such as JMeter or LoadRunner . Exposure to modern cloud platforms : AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud. Understanding of test strategy at scale, involving microservices and distributed systems.
