Quality Assurance Test Engineer

As a QA Engineer in Pune Baner on a contract basis, your primary responsibilities will involve: - Designing, developing, and executing automation test scripts using Selenium (must), Robot Framework, Python (must), and Golang. - Implementing robust locators for web elements (absolute vs relative paths) to ensure maintainable automation frameworks. - Leveraging built-in keywords of Robot Framework and following best practices in OOPs concepts and Python (data types, tuple vs list, etc.). - Performing API testing and automation as required. - Working with cloud platforms (AWS / Azure / GCP) to create and manage EC2/VMs, subnets, security groups, IAM roles, and programmatic connections. - Handling system-level knowledge including virtualization (VMWare or HyperV), OS concepts and troubleshooting, basic networking troubleshooting, Kubernetes (K8s) commands and cluster management, Disaster Recovery (RTO vs RPO concepts). - Contributing to security and backup domains, including awareness of malware detection infrastructure and enterprise storage/backup solutions. - Collaborating with cross-functional teams in Agile environments for requirement discussions, test planning, execution, and reporting. The qualifications required for this role include: - Strong automation testing experience with Selenium + Python. - Hands-on experience with Robot Framework and knowledge of Golang (preferred). - Good understanding of SQL, OOPs concepts, and Python data structures. - Exposure to Cloud technologies (AWS/Azure/GCP). - Experience in Virtualization (VMWare/HyperV), Kubernetes, and OS troubleshooting. - Awareness of malware detection, backup, and storage/security domains. If you have 5+ years of experience in Automation/SDET roles and possess strong problem-solving and debugging skills, along with exposure to backup, storage, or security domains, it will be considered as an added advantage.
