Quality Assurance Manager (Apparel/Fashion)

House of Anita Dongre is currently looking for a talented Quality Assurance Manager with a deep understanding of QA processes in Women's Ethnic wear for their brand Global Desi. As the Quality Assurance Manager, you will be responsible for leading a team of 5-6 QA executives located in different parts of India (Noida, Jaipur & Mumbai) and overseeing the quality and technical aspects of the function. Your primary responsibilities will include systematic planning of inspections and technical activities, active involvement in sourcing fabric and garments at competitive prices, managing sourcing and development responsibilities, evaluating factories to ensure quality standards are met, and reporting observations and analyses to top management and concerned parties. Additionally, you will be expected to address technical and quality issues, provide suggestions, and offer training to vendors. The ideal candidate should possess a strong understanding and knowledge of fabrics and patterns, thorough technical expertise in quality control and processes, and previous experience in Women's Ethnic wear. Qualifications: - Minimum 7-9 years of relevant experience - Industry experience in Apparel/Fashion Industry - Graduation degree - Required behavioral skills: team handling, negotiation, and interpersonal skills - Required technical skills: thorough technical knowledge of quality control processes, good understanding of fabrics and fabric sourcing This position is based in Rabale, Navi Mumbai.
