Role Overview:

The Quality Assurance Engineer (Standards & Compliance) will play a vital role in maintaining and enhancing quality standards within Safran’s Digital Factory team. This role focuses on ensuring adherence to coding standards, process compliance, and documentation quality, as well as enforcing Information Security (IS) minimum security rules.

You will work closely with cross-functional and international teams to drive continuous improvement, conduct compliance assessments, and implement best practices that enhance both efficiency and security.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Standards Definition:

    • Develop and enforce coding, documentation, and testing standards aligned with industry best practices.
    • Ensure compliance with regulatory and internal organizational requirements.

  • Security Compliance:

    • Conduct regular audits and checks to ensure adherence to Safran Information Security minimum security rules.
    • Collaborate with security teams to address non-compliance issues promptly.

  • Documentation Quality:

    • Review technical and project documentation for clarity, completeness, and consistency.
    • Provide actionable feedback to improve documentation standards.

  • Process Optimization:

    • Identify opportunities to improve efficiency within the software development lifecycle.
    • Implement best practices for continuous process improvement.

  • Audits and Inspections:

    • Plan and execute audits to assess compliance levels and process adherence.
    • Provide recommendations for corrective actions and preventive measures.

  • Training & Awareness:

    • Conduct training sessions and workshops to improve quality and compliance awareness among teams.

  • Reporting and Metrics:

    • Define and track metrics for compliance and quality improvement initiatives.
    • Generate reports for leadership to highlight progress and gaps.

Required Skills and Competencies:

Technical Knowledge

  • Deep understanding of coding standards and secure coding practices.
  • Experience with testing methodologies (manual and automated).
  • Strong knowledge of documentation best practices.
  • Understanding of information security controls and compliance frameworks.

Core Capabilities

  • Experience in compliance assessments and audits.
  • Ability to identify and implement process improvements.
  • Knowledge of quality assurance principles, including continuous improvement methodologies.

Soft Skills

  • Excellent communication skills, especially in global team environments.
  • Attention to detail with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Proactive approach to learning and adapting to evolving compliance requirements.

Strict Selection Criteria

  • Must be ready to join within 3–4 days of selection — no exceptions.
  • Relevant experience of 2–4 years is mandatory.
  • Profiles outside the defined range or with extended notice periods will be rejected immediately.
  • Strong background in compliance, standards, documentation, and process audits is essential.
