Quality Assurance Engineer

As a Quality Assurance Engineer, you will have the opportunity to work alongside senior quality assurance engineers to test new features and enhancements. You will participate in knowledge transfer sessions to refine requirements and acceptance criteria. Working closely with various teams, you will develop and maintain test artifacts such as test plans, procedures, and cases for all software releases. Collaboration with developers is key to verify new functionality and conduct smoke tests. Your responsibilities will also include functional and regression testing to ensure the application's correctness and to validate new code changes. Additionally, you will test system capabilities for functionality, interoperability, and data validation. Documenting test findings/issues and validating fixes are crucial parts of the iterative development process. Effective communication of progress, risks, and test coverage is essential, along with active participation in daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives. Qualifications Required: - Hold a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or similar technical discipline - 1 to 3 years of experience in software testing, including Agile/Scrum development lifecycle - Good understanding of web, desktop, and mobile applications testing - Strong knowledge of smoke, functional, regression, integration, and system testing - Proficiency in writing and executing test cases as well as defect reports - Experience with version control, defect tracking, and test management tools - Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively - Motivated individual with quick learning ability and problem-solving skills - Passion for contributing to products with a positive ethical impact,
