Quality Assurance Engineer II

We value finding the right person above all else. We are currently looking for an experienced professional software automation engineer to join our Business Systems team. In this role, you will serve as a QA Engineer, working to expand our test automation coverage, enhance processes, and collaborate with fellow Quality Assurance Specialists and Engineers. The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of relevant experience, with a strong background in manual UI testing. You will be responsible for conducting manual and automation testing either as part of a team or independently reporting to an IT Director. Key Responsibilities: - Collaborate with various stakeholders to design test frameworks and apply QA best practices - Expand test automation coverage across business systems and measure progress through key performance indicators - Analyze features, identify test coverage, and report results in a continuous integration and delivery model - Create testing strategies for automation and manual testing, as well as devise tests to uncover unexpected issues - Work with teams to describe defects in detail for developers and business owners to understand Required Skills and Abilities: - Proficiency in various test frameworks, techniques, and methodologies - Advanced knowledge of at least one modern programming language and coding best practices - Understanding of agile software development methodologies and how test automation supports them - Self-motivated learning and ability to mentor others in testing practices - Experience testing enterprise-level and web applications, as well as working within specific time windows Education and Experience Required: - 3+ years of experience in creating test plans for manual and automation testing in agile environments - 5+ years of experience in testing and analyzing automated testing failures in SaaS platforms and custom tools - 3+ years of experience with test automation tools such as Copado Robotics Testing, Selenium, and Playwright If you are a dedicated and experienced software automation engineer looking to make a meaningful impact in education technology, we encourage you to apply for this exciting opportunity at Curriculum Associates.,
