Quality Assurance Engineer

You are a detail-oriented and results-driven Senior QA Engineer with a strong background in manual and automation testing. Your role involves designing and executing robust test strategies to ensure high-quality software delivery across web, mobile, and API platforms. As a Senior QA Engineer, you will be pivotal in building Python-based automation frameworks, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and mentoring junior testers to drive continuous quality improvement. Your responsibilities include designing comprehensive test plans, building and maintaining automation frameworks using tools like Python, Selenium, and Pytest, and collaborating with developers, product managers, and DevOps teams to define testing scope and coverage. You will be responsible for performing various types of testing including functional, regression, integration, and performance testing. Managing defects throughout their lifecycle using tools like JIRA or Bugzilla, ensuring seamless test integration into CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, Git, and related tools, and documenting high-quality QA artifacts such as test cases, test reports, and user stories. To excel in this role, you should hold a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, with at least 2 years of experience in software quality assurance. You must have strong hands-on experience in automation testing using Python and proficiency in tools like Selenium, Pytest, Jenkins, Git, and test management platforms. Your knowledge of SDLC, Agile methodologies, and defect lifecycle management will be essential. Your analytical and problem-solving skills, meticulous attention to detail, excellent communication, and collaborative team skills will contribute to your success in this role. Expertise in manual testing (Web, API, Mobile), test automation with Python (Selenium, Pytest), bug tracking & defect management (JIRA, Bugzilla), test planning & execution, working in Agile/Scrum environments, CI/CD integration (Jenkins, GitLab), and code reviews & QA documentation will be beneficial for this position.,
