Quality Assurance Engineer

As a member of the team at Facctum, you will play a crucial role in designing, developing, and maintaining manual and automated test scripts using tools such as Selenium, Cucumber, and following the BDD style. Your responsibility will include collaborating with cross-functional teams to prioritize test features and automation, executing automated test scripts, analyzing test results to identify defects and performance issues, and continuously enhancing the automation framework and testing processes to improve efficiency and effectiveness. Additionally, you will be involved in test case preparation and maintenance, manual test execution for new functionalities, defect reporting, conducting end-to-end testing of the application, and providing daily reporting of assigned tasks. You should also be prepared to offer ad-hoc support wherever needed and be a valuable team player. To excel in this role, you are required to have a solid experience of 6 to 8 years in the field. Proficiency in Selenium is a must-have skill, while experience with other automation testing tools and frameworks would be advantageous. Knowledge of Rest Assured for API testing, familiarity with the Java language, experience in API Testing using tools like Postman or Insomnia, understanding of SQL and basic Unix, as well as knowledge of software testing methodologies and processes are also essential for this position.
