Quality Assurance Analyst/TDM Analyst

As a Quality Assurance Analyst/TDM Analyst at our company, you will report to the TDM/Data Platform QA Manager and collaborate closely with Product Owner, Design, Development, and Test teams. Your responsibilities will include: - Demonstrating deep expertise in Test Data Management, including data security, masking, synthetic data generation, and strategic test data planning. - Generating, conditioning, provisioning, and masking test data, creating macros and synthetic datasets, and supporting legal and security audit readiness. - Conducting ETL testing and data validation, creating IICS workflows for TDM functions, and automating processes using Java/Python for CI/CD and self-serve jobs. - Troubleshooting technical issues, reporting defects in Rally/Jira, and delivering regular progress/status updates. - Participating in Agile ceremonies, managing projects independently from requirements gathering to test reporting, and maintaining documentation for data masking solutions. - Working with application and business teams to identify protected data, design test data strategies, and champion TDM best practices and continuous skill improvement. - Handling escalations and project concerns, ensuring client expectations are met, and collaborating with management and QA teams to implement effective test data frameworks. You should bring: - 4-5 years as a TDM engineer with Informatica/IICS or other TDM tools; extensive functional testing experience and strong test documentation skills. - Proficiency in writing SQL queries for data validation testing (3+ years). - Hands-on experience with Snowflake, AWS, and multi-cloud database technologies. - Skills in cloud-based database management systems; knowledge of heterogeneous data sources (Db/2, Snowflake, Oracle) is a plus. - Familiarity with SOAP/REST APIs and Python for data automation testing preferred. - Excellent communication, problem-solving, and analytical skills; detail-oriented and quick learner. - Collaborative team player with a proactive approach and passion for sharing knowledge. - Ability to work effectively in virtual teams across multiple locations. Education Requirements: - A bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, business administration, or other related discipline or the equivalent - Combination of education, training, or work experience. Bonus qualifications: - Sound understanding and experience of Agile working practices. - Knowledge of Generative AI Platforms (GitHub Copilot, etc.).
