Quality Assurance Analyst

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Junior QA Engineer to become a valuable member of our Quality Assurance team. This position is well-suited for recent graduates or individuals with up to 2 years of experience in software testing. Your primary responsibility will be to uphold the quality and dependability of our software products by conducting thorough testing and collaborating with various teams. Your duties will include comprehending requirements, devising test plans, generating test cases, and crafting test data. You will carry out manual testing to pinpoint defects and guarantee product functionality. Additionally, you will be tasked with running and managing automated test scripts, provided you have experience in automation. Collaboration with developers and product teams to replicate and resolve defects, logging bugs with meticulous details, and monitoring them until resolution will also be part of your role. As a Junior QA Engineer, you will actively participate in sprint planning and daily standups following Agile/Scrum methodology. You will also contribute to regression, smoke, and sanity testing during release cycles. Continuous self-improvement is encouraged, prompting you to stay abreast of new tools and technologies to enhance QA processes. Qualifications for this role include 0 to 2 years of experience in manual and/or automation testing, a solid grasp of software development and QA methodologies, and familiarity with bug tracking tools like JIRA, Bugzilla, or similar. Knowledge of testing tools such as Selenium, Postman, or JUnit would be advantageous. Strong communication and analytical skills are essential, along with a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field. Desirable skills include proficiency in scripting languages like Python, Java, or JavaScript, exposure to CI/CD tools such as Jenkins and Git, and possession of an ISTQB certification or equivalent (preferred but not mandatory).
