Key Responsibilities

• Functional, Regression, and Integration Testing:
  Conduct thorough manual and automated testing of front-end and back-end web/mobile applications, ensuring all features function as intended.
• API Testing (Basics):
  Validate API responses, status codes, and data integrity using tools like Postman or similar.
• Cross-Browser & Cross-Platform Testing:
  Test applications across various browsers (Chrome, Firefox, Edge, Safari) and platforms (Windows, macOS, Android, iOS) to ensure consistent user experience.
• Test Documentation:
  Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation, including test cases, test scripts, and test data, following current QA methodologies.
• Automation Scripting:
  Create, execute, and maintain automated test scripts using open-source tools (e.g., Selenium WebDriver), focusing on regression and repetitive test scenarios.
• Defect Tracking & Root Cause Analysis:
  Log, track, and manage defects; perform root cause analysis on production issues and collaborate with the team for timely resolution.
• Continuous Improvement:
  Analyze existing systems and processes to identify areas for improvement and implement best practices.
• Collaboration & Communication:
  Work closely with cross-functional teams in an Agile environment, effectively communicating test results, risks, and issues.

Desired Skills & Qualifications

• Experience:
  3-4 years in Software QA/Testing, with a strong emphasis on manual testing and exposure to automation.
• Testing Knowledge:
  Solid understanding of STLC, testing methodologies, and quality metrics.

• Technical Skills:
• Proficient in SQL for data validation.
• Experience with HTML, CSS, JavaScript for web application testing.
• Familiarity with open-source automation tools (e.g., Playwright).
• Basic knowledge of API testing tools (e.g., Postman).
• Analytical Abilities:
  Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills; ability to identify edge cases and non-functional scenarios.
• Organizational Skills:
  Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
• Teamwork:
  Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; able to work both independently and collaboratively in an Agile environment.

Additional Requirements

• Experience in creating and maintaining test data.
• Ability to estimate, prioritize, and coordinate testing activities.
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
