Quality analyst

As a Senior Test Engineer in the Quality Assurance team based in Mumbai, you will play a crucial role in building new automation and maintaining existing automated tests. Your responsibilities will include building, executing, and debugging automated functional and back-end tests. You will diagnose problems, report bugs and enhancements to the Development team, and ensure efficient and stable builds. Collaboration with the development and functional QA teams will be essential to make decisions on what to automate. Additionally, you will be expected to manage the workflow, quality, and output of a small team of QA engineers. To qualify for this role, you should have a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent, along with at least 5 years of work experience in a related field. Your strong expertise in object-oriented programming and concepts, as well as a solid understanding of software quality assurance practices, will be beneficial. You should also possess the ability to mentor junior members of the test automation team and QA engineers in overseas locations. The ideal candidate will have a good working knowledge of at least 2 of the following languages/scripting and frameworks: Java, JUnit/TestNG, Jenkins, Selenium, FitNesse, SoapUI, Javascript, Groovy, Maven, Python, Ruby, Git. Experience in Test-Driven Development (TDD), continuous integration, and code review practices is highly desired. A keen awareness of activities in the open-source community and a willingness to contribute back to open-source projects will be considered a significant advantage for this role.,
