Quality Analyst

Role Description:

Job Functions / Responsibilities

• Learns and adapts applicable technologies, products, and tools
• Understands product and domain knowledge
• Develops test plans and appropriates test cases
• Writes, reviews, and executes test scripts and ensures that they meet defined standards
• Executes test cases and reports the execution status
• Reports defects in appropriate manner and follows the defined defect life cycle
• Sets up scenarios on the testing environments
• Provides feedback as part of the team reviewing new and existing test cases
• Works with development team to provide inputs to fix issues and possible solutions to problems
• Demonstrates problem solving and innovation ability
• Provides required estimation inputs while preparing the test plan in the System and Regression Testing phases
• Proactively reports all activities to the reporting manager
• Proactively seeks assistance as required
• Guides new team members as required to scale them up faster

Skills/Abilities:

• 2-3 years experience in Testing which includes manual testing /automation testing
• At least a year experience in manual testing
• Ability to create test plan and test cases from Use Cases.
• Knowledge of, MYSQL, MSSQL etc
• Web UI Testing Experience
• Understanding knowledge of xml
  

Educational Requirements:

• BCA/BSc/BE/BTech in Computer Science/IT
• ISTQB foundation level certified
