Job Description

Designation: Quality Analyst

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Quality Analyst with a strong background in software testing and experience in the Pharma/Life Sciences domain. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the quality, accuracy, and compliance of applications through manual and automated testing, while bringing in industry-specific knowledge of pharmaceutical processes, regulatory compliance (GxP, FDA, 21 CFR Part 11), and validation standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop, review, and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts (manual and automated).
Validate software systems to ensure compliance with pharma industry regulations and quality standards.
Conduct functional, regression, integration, and user acceptance testing.
Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and domain experts to identify and resolve defects.
Perform defect tracking, logging, and root cause analysis using tools such as JIRA, ALM, or similar.
Document test results and prepare detailed QA reports for stakeholders.
Support validation and verification activities in alignment with GxP, FDA, and other pharma compliance requirements.
Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance testing processes and efficiency.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

3+ years of experience in software testing (manual/automation) with exposure to pharma or life sciences projects.
Hands-on experience with QA methodologies, test management tools, and defect tracking systems.
Familiarity with compliance and validation requirements (GxP, FDA guidelines, 21 CFR Part 11).
Strong analytical, documentation, and communication skills.
Knowledge of SQL for database validation.
Experience with automation tools (Selenium, UFT, or similar) is a plus.
