QE - TOSCA Automation Engineer (API & UI)

As a TOSCA Automation Engineer (API & UI), you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining automated test scripts for both API and UI testing using Tricentis TOSCA. Your primary role will involve collaborating with developers, QA analysts, and business analysts to create comprehensive test automation solutions that ensure the quality and functionality of our software products. You will be expected to conduct functional, regression, and integration testing for various applications, execute automated test scripts, analyze results to identify issues, and ensure high-quality outcomes. Additionally, you will need to develop and implement automated testing strategies and frameworks using TOSCA, ensuring efficient test coverage and maintaining high standards of testing practices. In this role, you will also be responsible for managing and optimizing test environments and configurations, as well as maintaining documentation for test scripts, test cases, and test results. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to identify test automation opportunities and have a strong understanding of the software development life cycle (SDLC) and Agile/Scrum methodologies. Collaboration with continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines will be essential. From a technical perspective, proficiency in TOSCA Testsuite for designing and implementing automated tests is crucial. Experience with TBox Modules, Requirements, TCD, Test cases, and execution in Tosca is required. You should also possess solid knowledge of API testing (e.g., REST, SOAP) and experience with tools like Postman, SOAPUI, etc. Furthermore, experience with UI automation testing across different browsers and devices is necessary. Proficiency in configuring and using test management tools such as Jira, qTest, ALM, and ADO is expected, and familiarity with programming/scripting languages (e.g., Java, C#, Python, VBScript) is considered a plus. Certification in TOSCA or other relevant test automation tools is also beneficial. In terms of soft skills, you should demonstrate strong analytical and problem-solving skills, excellent communication and collaboration abilities, attention to detail, and a commitment to quality. The ability to work independently and develop/maintain automation scripts in Tosca will be critical for success in this role.,
