Job Description

Description

We are seeking an experienced QC Supervisor for our welding department in India. The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge of welding quality standards and a proven track record in managing quality control processes. This role requires strong leadership skills and the ability to ensure that all welding work meets strict quality guidelines.

Responsibilities

Supervise and manage the welding quality control team.
Develop and implement quality control procedures and standards for welding processes.
Conduct inspections and tests on welded components and structures to ensure compliance with specifications.
Analyze inspection results and prepare detailed reports for management review.
Collaborate with engineering and production teams to address quality issues and implement corrective actions.
Train and mentor junior QC personnel on welding inspection techniques and quality standards.
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of welding codes, standards, and technologies.

Skills and Qualifications

8-10 years of experience in welding quality control or related field.
Strong knowledge of welding processes and techniques (MIG, TIG, Stick, etc.).
Familiarity with welding codes and standards (AWS, ASME, ISO, etc.).
Experience with inspection tools and techniques (ultrasonic, magnetic particle, visual inspection, etc.).
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and quality management software.
