Job Description

Role & responsibilities-

  • Developing and Implementing Quality Control Procedures:

Creating and maintaining quality control processes, ensuring they align with industry standards and company requirements.

  • Conducting Inspections and Audits:

Performing regular inspections and audits of jewelry components, finished products, and production processes to identify defects or deviations from standards.

  • Managing Quality Issues:

Addressing and resolving quality issues that arise during the manufacturing process, working with production and design teams to implement corrective actions.

  • Team Management:

Leading and supervising a team of quality control personnel, providing guidance, training, and performance feedback.

  • Supplier Collaboration:

Working with suppliers to ensure the quality of raw materials and components, addressing any quality concerns and providing feedback.

  • Documentation and Reporting:

Maintaining accurate records of quality control activities, preparing reports on quality metrics, and identifying areas for process improvement.

  • Staying Updated on Industry Standards:

Keeping abreast of international quality standards and regulations, ensuring that the company's products meet global market requirements.

  • Continuous Improvement:

Identifying opportunities to improve quality control processes and implementing strategies for continuous improvement.

  • Adherence to Safety and Legal Standards:

Ensuring all jewelry products comply with safety regulations and legal requirements.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Strong Knowledge of Jewelry Manufacturing:

A solid understanding of jewelry manufacturing processes, materials, and quality control techniques.

  • Attention to Detail:

Exceptional attention to detail is crucial for identifying defects and ensuring high-quality standards.

  • Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills:

Ability to analyze data, identify root causes of quality issues, and develop effective solutions.

  • Communication and Interpersonal Skills:

Excellent communication skills to collaborate with team members, suppliers, and other stakeholders.

  • Leadership and Management Skills:

Experience in leading and managing a team, providing guidance and feedback.

  • Proficiency in Quality Management Systems:

Familiarity with quality management systems and tools (e.g., ISO standards, Six Sigma).

  • Knowledge of International Standards:

Understanding of international jewelry market standards and regulations.
