QC Engineer

You will be responsible for conducting in-process and final inspections of packaging machine parts and systems to ensure they adhere to quality standards and engineering specifications. This includes performing dimensional, visual, and functional tests on components, assemblies, and finished products. Your role will involve identifying and reporting any non-conformities, deviations, or defects in materials or workmanship during the production process. Collaboration with engineering, production, and maintenance teams will be essential as you work together to implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) based on audit results and quality analysis. In the event of quality failures, you will be expected to conduct root cause analysis and implement necessary corrective actions to prevent recurrence. Maintaining accurate and up-to-date records of inspections, test results, audits, and quality reports will be a crucial aspect of your role. It is imperative that you possess in-depth knowledge of quality control tools, testing methods, and techniques, including root cause analysis. Additionally, familiarity with packaging machinery components, systems, and manufacturing processes would be advantageous. Proficiency in MS Office applications such as Excel, Word, and Outlook is required for this position. Experience with procurement software or Tally systems would be considered a plus.
